The series finale of Samurai Jack completely invalidates the entire series, ESPECIALLY the characters. For example, when Ashi meets Jack she wants to kill him, but she slowly learns that she had been raised to do evil and eventually falls in love with the samurai. This is the idea that a character should change as the story progresses. When talking about storytelling, we often run into an idea known as "character development". It's just the very ending that's an absolute pile of garbage. In my opinion, the rest of the episode was wonderful. One final thing before we begin, this is aimed at the very end of the finale. Is it satisfying? Could there be more? Was it enjoyable? Does it make sense? Is there something missing? Finally, I will go over the entertainment standpoint. Second, I will go over the logical standpoint. I will begin with the narrative standpoint. Okay, to begin I will illustrate for you why the series finale to Samurai Jack is the worst possible ending it could have been given using three different perspectives.
